Rugo Stone, LLC is a privately owned company dedicated to the design, fabrication, and installation of natural stone, mosaic, and other related architecturally significant products. Our specific market focus has included some of the most challenging and intricate projects required of a stone contracting / fabrication company. These projects typically involve highly detailed marble and granite fabrication, complex stone shop drawings, and detailed engineered support systems, along with rigorous scaffold and rigging challenges, all required in an environment of progressively shorter lead times.
Our fabrication facility is state of art, and utilizes 3 and 5 axis CNC milling machines; along with large capacity bring saws, in line polishers, and a very skilled workforce. Our facility is environmentally sensitive and relies on 100% water recycling as well as recycling our waste to the greatest extent possible.
Our facility is often specified as a LEED point generator for projects where regional materials and regional manufacturing are desired.
We inventory over 200 colors of precious marble, limestone, granite, and onyx, and we will both sell slabs to the trade as well as fabricate depending on a customer's needs.
Notable completed projects include the Washington DC Convention Center, Newseum, The National Headquarters of the American Red Cross, The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, and many ornate Catholic chapels at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, as well as many fine homes, and small more intricate fountains, status bases, and fireplaces.
